Pine4pple2.0 Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Stonemason to join our team in Yatala, QLD. This full-time role is crucial in supporting and delivering high-quality stone masonry work. As a Stonemason, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and installing various types of stone, mainly for the installation of stone benchtops, splash backs, and others.
What you'll be doing
Interpreting plans and technical drawings to determine the required stone work
Measuring, cutting, shaping, and finishing stone materials to precise specification
Installing stone elements such as benchtops, splash backs fireplaces, barbeques
Ensuring the quality and safety of all stone masonry work
Collaborating with installation teams to coordinate the stone masonry process
Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
What we're looking for
Formal training or qualification in stonemasonry, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
A trade certificate in stonemasonry is required
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Skilled in the use of specialised tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and installing stone
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a construction team
Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role
