Content Creator & Marketing Coordinator — Casual, 2 Days/Week
About Pickup Pals
Pickup Pals is a Sunshine Coast removalist crew — truck and utes on the road daily, a business growing fast off our socials and ads, and about to expand into North Brisbane.
About the role
We're after someone who can take our content strategy up a level, not just point a camera at it. This is a casual role, 2 days/week to start — but if you're good, there's a real path to grow into a bigger marketing role as we expand.
What you'll do
- Plan content with our Operations Manager — what's working, what's not, what's next
- Ride along on real jobs (truck and utes both) and film it
- Cut Reels/TikToks that actually get watched
- Get on camera with the team for behind-the-scenes and brand content
- Own posting across Facebook & Instagram
- Produce creative for our paid ads and content that flows through to our website
- Review performance and adjust — we want someone who executes efficiently, not just churns out posts
Where this can go
As you prove yourself, there's room to grow into broader marketing — email campaigns, ad strategy, more — as the company grows. That comes with time and pay to match, not expected on day one.
About you
- Might be junior now, but you think strategically, not just creatively
- Shoot and edit fast (CapCut or similar) — and can show us something, personal page or otherwise
- Comfortable in front of the camera as well as behind it
- Write like a human, not a brochure
- Happy on the road some early mornings
- We care about the work, not the résumé
The deal
2 days/week, casual, flexible on which days. $32–38/hr depending on experience, reviewed at 3-6 months with room to grow into a bigger marketing role. Shortlisted applicants get a paid half-day trial on the road.
