About Phytech:
Phytech have grown to become the largest IoT Agtech service provider in Australia. The Phytech service centers around a range of proprietary plant and environmental sensors, along with cloud based algorithms, that enable growers to view the real time irrigation needs of their crops. Data is collected and analyzed automatically, then displayed to the grower using a simple smartphone and web interface. This leads to improved water use efficiency, optimized yields and higher quality produce.
Phytech has also expanded into the irrigation automation sector, providing growers with the ability to remotely program their irrigation system. The business model is “as-a-service” for both hardware and software, whereby the client pays a seasonal subscription fee rather than purchasing the specialized hardware and software themselves. Target irrigated crops include almonds, citrus, avocado, pistachio, stonefruit & grapes.
Due to business growth a new opportunity exists for a Sunraysia-based Irrigation Automation Technician to join the team.
