You’ll primarily conduct home-based occupational therapy assessments, identify clients’ functional needs and provide practical recommendations for assistive equipment, home modifications and strategies to support independent living. We offer exceptionally flexible working arrangements, allowing you to choose your preferred working days and enjoy a schedule that suits your lifestyle, with no weekend work required.

You’ll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, remedial massage therapists, nurses and dietitians, all working together to deliver high-quality community healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients’ functional abilities, activities of daily living, mobility and home safety.
  • Recommend appropriate assistive technology, adaptive equipment and home modifications to improve safety and independence.
  • Prepare comprehensive occupational therapy assessment reports and recommendations for clients and their care providers.
  • Provide practical advice and education to clients, families and carers to support independent living.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team and external care providers to ensure coordinated, client‑centred care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional and clinical standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working with older adults, preferably within community aged care or home‑based settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment, reasoning and report‑writing skills.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology, home modifications and falls prevention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to obtain relevant police screening and other checks required for working in aged care.
  • A genuine passion for helping older Australians maintain their independence and quality of life.

What We Offer

  • Generous remuneration: $110,000–$130,000 FTE + superannuation, depending on experience.
  • Performance‑based commission: Opportunity to earn additional income on top of your base salary.
  • Exceptional flexibility: Choose your preferred working days and enjoy flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle.
  • No weekend work: Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with your weekends free.
  • Kilometre reimbursement: Reimbursement for eligible work‑related travel.
  • Professional development allowance: Financial support for ongoing learning, training and professional development.
  • Work close to home: Opportunities to see clients within your preferred geographical areas.
  • Dedicated administrative support: Our administration team assists with client bookings, referrals and scheduling.
  • Supportive multidisciplinary team: Work alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, remedial massage therapists, nurses and dietitians.
