Civil Engineering Technician
Phillip Riley is looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team.
Duties include:
- Assisting in cost estimation in support of Civil Engineering tasks.
- Interpreting work assignment guidelines and performing tests on building materials for civil engineering work.
- Creating drawings and tables and selecting the right equipment and appropriate procedures.
- Examining civil engineering sites and arranging maintenance and repair work.
- Gathering data, analysing and performing calculations.
- Assessing material costs and verifying that completed projects comply with specifications, regulations and contract terms.
- Gathering data for traffic surveys and carrying out tests on construction materials and soils in both laboratory and field environments.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Extensive technical knowledge.
- Interpersonal skills.
Salary: $87,500 - $107,500 plus superannuation
