There's real satisfaction in handing over a vehicle that looks immaculate, and at Frizelle Sunshine Automotive, that moment is something the whole team takes pride in. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to be part of a busy team that keeps customers smiling, this could be the role for you.
About the role:
As a Detailer/Car Washer, you play a direct part in the customer experience by ensuring every vehicle leaving the dealership is presented at its very best.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Washing, polishing, and detailing new and used vehicles to a high standard before customer handover
- Applying paint protection and other pre-delivery treatments, giving you exposure to a range of vehicle preparation techniques
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks to ensure each car meets presentation standards before it reaches the customer
- Working closely with internal teams to meet delivery deadlines and keep the operation running smoothly
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, where attention to detail is noticed and appreciated
About you:
You take pride in doing a job well and understand that the details matter when it comes to vehicle presentation.
We'd love to hear from you if you bring:
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing quality work every time
- The ability to manage your time well and work efficiently during busy periods
- A current, valid driver's licence, including confidence moving vehicles around the dealership
- A positive attitude and the willingness to be a reliable, contributing member of a close-knit team
- Previous detailing or car washing experience is an advantage, though not essential as full training is provided
The benefits:
Frizelle Sunshine Automotive offers a supportive environment where your contribution is recognised and your development is encouraged.
Benefits include:
- On-the-job training that builds your skills in vehicle preparation and detailing
- A stable, team-oriented workplace backed by one of Queensland's most established automotive groups
- Employee benefits including discounts on vehicles, servicing and our exclusive rewards platform
- Clear pathways to grow within the dealership as your experience develops
- A role where the quality of your work is visible and valued every single day
