About the ROLE
Leading a franchise sales team and reporting directly to the General Sales Manager you will work to deliver monthly targets whilst ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
In this role, you will ;
A New Car Sales Manager leads and motivates a sales team to achieve sales targets, manage inventory, and ensure customer satisfaction within a car dealership .
They oversee the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, and often play a key role in developing and implementing marketing and promotional campaigns.
Here's a more detailed look at the role
- Lead and motivate the MG sales team to consistently achieve individual and department targets.
- Monitor sales performance, identify trends and opportunities and develop / implement improvement strategies.
- Acquire, price, list and display inventory in line with OEM requirements
- Monitor and manage aged stock in line with company requirements
- Consistently reinforce and implement the Peter Stevens Motorworld sales philosophy and approach to ensure customer service excellence at all times.
- Ensure all day-to-day sales administration is completed with accuracy and in a timely fashion throughout the team
- Stay up-to-date with OEM announcements, campaigns and processes to ensure both compliance and optimisation or every opportunity available.
- Act as a key contact for the OEM Relationship Manager by maintaining regular meetings and contact.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant company policies, OEM policies and industry regulations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with other departments within the dealership to ensure smooth operations.
As a retail business all members of the sales team are expected to work 5 days per week including Saturday with a regular RDO Monday to Friday.

We expect you to be experienced in New Car Sales (preferably as a Sales Manager) and excited about the opportunity the MG brand presents.
A full driver's license is required for this role.
