Who we're looking for: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our 3PL site and make sure every client's stock is received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time. Reporting to our General Manager of Operations, you will own the site's people, processes, inventory and cost performance, and be the go‑to operational contact for our 3PL clients. This is a hands‑on leadership role. You will lead Supervisors and floor teams across AM and PM shifts, turn client requirements into a smooth daily operation, and drive continuous improvement in productivity, accuracy and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a safety‑first culture, ensuring compliance with WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Plan and oversee all inbound, storage, pick, pack and dispatch operations across shifts.
- Forecast labour and equipment needs, and manage rosters through peak and seasonal periods.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes and variance investigations.
- Act as the site‑level contact for 3PL clients, delivering to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Lead, coach and develop Supervisors, Team Leaders and warehouse staff to build a high‑performance team.
- Manage the site budget, labour costs and productivity, and report on site performance.
- Drive process improvements, maintain SOPs, and support the onboarding of new clients.
About You:
- 5+ years' experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including managing a multi‑shift site.
- Proven 3PL or multi‑client experience, with a track record of meeting SLAs and KPIs.
- A confident, hands‑on leader who builds accountable, engaged teams.
- Strong knowledge of WHS/OHS requirements and safe work practices.
- Commercially minded, comfortable managing budgets and working with productivity data.
- Proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
- A forklift licence and a qualification in supply chain or logistics are preferred, but not a requirement.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients, staff and senior leaders.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Solid WMS experience and sound computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
This is a pivotal role within our 3PL business, with real opportunities for growth and development. If you thrive in a dynamic, hands‑on environment and enjoy leading teams while delivering operational excellence, we want to hear from you.
