What You'll Do:
- Architect and develop full-stack features using Next.js and Node.js across consumer and corporate banking products.
- Design and maintain GraphQL APIs — schemas, resolvers, subscriptions, and federated services.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features from spec to production.
- Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Ensure applications meet banking-grade security, compliance (PCI-DSS, APRA), and performance standards.
- Drive improvements to CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and observability practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for production systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in Front End Technologies.
- Production experience with Next.js — SSR, SSG, App Router, middleware, API routes.
- Solid understanding of TypeScript, testing (Jest, Playwright/Cypress), and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong grasp of web security fundamentals — OAuth 2.0, JWT, HTTPS, OWASP Top 10.
