Job Description
AMS TECHNOLOGY GROUP MELBOURNE PTY LTD is an Australian-based company specializing in commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) services. With a strong presence in Western Australia Victoria and NSW We are looking or a full - time employee with min 1-2 yrs experience in Air conditioning Mechanic with an ability to work independently within existing protocols.
The salary offered will be between $75,000 - $85,000. Location: 19 Florence St, Burwood VIC 3125 The job duties are as follow for HVAC:
- Installing, troubleshooting and overhauling entire heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Measuring refrigeration or air-conditioning components for installation by laying out reference points
- Follow plans and specifications to install, commission, service and maintain equipment
- Working with hand and power tools to install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, gauges and so on
- Measuring and cutting piping, and connecting piping using welding equipment
- Testing heating, ventilation, air conditioning checking
- Installs air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in industrial, commercial and domestic settings
- Assembles components and parts to construct air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Repairs and maintains air conditioning and refrigeration components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators and pumps
- Repairs and maintains air conditioning and refrigeration lines used for refrigerant, liquids and gases in the air conditioning, heating or cooling process
- Tests operational air conditioning and refrigeration systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Fills systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks, and removes gas and fluids with vacuum pumps
- Recovers and fills refrigerant in air conditioning and refrigeration systems
