THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a large ASX national organisation seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join a high-performing Employee Relations team. This is an opportunity to focus on meaningful and challenging workplace investigations while partnering with leaders across the business to deliver fair, balanced and commercially sound outcomes. Working within a collaborative HR function, you'll play a key role in managing sensitive employee matters and influencing best practice across the organisation.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you will independently manage complex employee relations matters from commencement through to resolution, with a strong focus on workplace investigations. You will conduct interviews, assess evidence, prepare comprehensive investigation reports and provide clear, practical recommendations that stand up to scrutiny. Partnering with leaders, HR Business Partners and internal stakeholders, you'll confidently navigate sensitive matters while balancing business needs with legislative and policy requirements. This role is suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
THE CRITERIA
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience managing complex employee relations matters and conducting end-to-end workplace investigations within a large or complex organisation. You will be recognised for your ability to gather and assess evidence, prepare well-written investigation reports and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders. A strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, procedural fairness and employee relations principles is essential, along with a pragmatic, commercially minded approach and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining professionalism, discretion and integrity.
