THE ORGANISATION

Our client is a well-established Australian retail business with operations in Australia and New Zealand.

It's known for a supportive, close-knit culture and an outstanding benefits offering, and it's now looking for an experienced payroll professional to join its finance team on a part-time basis.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the CFO, this standalone part-time payroll role comes with real autonomy and ownership.

You'll manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll for around 70 employees across Australia and New Zealand in Employment Hero, making sure every pay run is accurate and on time.

Alongside payroll, you'll produce headcount and workforce reports, support salary benchmarking ahead of the annual review cycle, and look after people and culture administration, including employment contracts, onboarding, offboarding and employee benefits.

The role is 3 days per week on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent. It's based in St Lenoards on a hybrid arrangement of two days in the office and one from home.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will bring strong end-to-end payroll experience and advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Employment Hero experience is highly regarded.

Exposure to people and culture administration is also essential.

You'll be detail-focused, responsive and comfortable working with numbers, systems and stakeholders across the business.
