THE ORGANISATION

Our client is a globally recognised brand with a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand. Locally, the business operates a network of stores, a corporate office in Collingwood and its own distribution centre, with a workforce of around 1,500 people. They are known for a social, inclusive and family-friendly culture, and the ANZ People & Culture team of around 20 is growing.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the APAC Remuneration & Benefits Manager, you will join on a six-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start. This is a hands‑on, standalone role in which you will be the local expert on remuneration and benefits for Australia and New Zealand. You will take global and regional reward frameworks and adapt them to the local market, interpret enterprise agreement provisions on pay and conditions, and prepare bonus calculations. You will also manage the annual reward calendar, including the review of job levelling frameworks.

THE CRITERIA

To be successful in this role, you will bring three to five years’ experience in remuneration and benefits, ideally in retail, although other industries will be considered. A working knowledge of enterprise agreements is essential, and an understanding of unions and the bargaining process would be highly regarded. Applications are also welcome from reward consultants with in‑house or business partnering experience who want to move into an in‑house role. You will need strong Excel skills, and experience with Workday or Dayforce would be an advantage. You’ll be a self‑starter who is comfortable working on your own and with a manager based overseas.

At Peoplecorp, we are dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in every recruitment process. We believe that a rich variety of perspectives drives innovation and success. We actively seek candidates from all backgrounds and encourage individuals of all races, genders, abilities, and experiences to apply.
