A software solutions technology provider is seeking an experienced RedHat Linux Engineer possessing expertise in the administration of RedHat Enterprise Linux Servers within large scale environments for a permanent role located just minutes from the Perth CBD.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide advanced administration, support and troubleshooting
- Install, configure and upgrade infrastructure
- Consult with the client/project team to provide technical expertise
- Monitor system performance and reliability
- Support the team through technical deployments and system migrations
Key experience:
- Proven enterprise scale expertise with administering Redhat Enterprise Linux servers is required
- Knowledge of AWS/Windows/VMWare environments would be advantageous
- Experience working with Network infrastructure environments (switching, routing)
- Knowledge of ITIL framework / Service Management tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
- Relevant certifications/education would be highly regarded
Desirable experience:
- Experience with AWS, Nutanix, VMWare, Informix, Pronto AND/OR Oracle would be advantageous (but not mandatory)
