A software solutions technology provider is seeking an experienced Red Hat Linux Engineer possessing expertise in the administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers within large scale environments for apermanent rolelocated just minutes from the Perth CBD.
Responsibilities include
- Provide advanced administration, support and troubleshooting
- Install, configure and upgrade infrastructure
- Consult with the client/ project team to provide technical expertise
- Monitor system performance and reliability
- Support the team through technical deployments and system migrations
Key experience
- Proven enterprise scale expertise with administering Redhat Enterprise Linux servers is required
- Knowledge of AWS/ Windows/ VMWare environments would be advantageous
- Experience working with Network infrastructure environments (switching, routing)
- Knowledge of ITIL framework / Service Management tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
- Relevant certifications / education would be highly regarded
Desirable experience
- Experience with AWS, Nutanix , VMWare, Informix, Pronto AND/ OR Oracle would be advantageous (but not mandatory)
