Fife Capital is seeking a legal professional to work across a broad range of legal and regulatory matters arising from its funds management and property investment business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and interpret legislation, regulations and other legal requirements relevant to funds management, financial services, property investment and corporate activities.
- Analyse changes in legislation, regulation and regulatory guidance, and assess their application to the business and resulting legal obligations and risks.
- Advise on and manage legal and regulatory matters across the business, including corporate governance, compliance, company secretarial and insurance.
- Advise, review and assess components of the legal, compliance and risk management framework within the business against applicable legislation and case law.
- Provide legal and regulatory updates to the business including summaries of applicable case law.
- Draft and review contracts and transaction documents to identify and assess legal implications and associated risks.
- Provide legal and technical support to internal stakeholders and liaise with external legal and other professional advisers as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Relevant qualifications in law or legal studies with an interest in compliance, governance, and risk management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in funds management, financial services, corporate or property law.
- Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, communication and commercial skills.
