What you’ll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify clients' functional abilities, needs and goals
- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans to help clients improve their physical, cognitive and psychosocial functioning
- Provide hands-on therapy interventions such as activity-based training, adaptive equipment prescription and home modifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists and speech pathologists, to deliver holistic care
- Document client progress and outcomes in line with regulatory and organisational requirements
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum 1 year experience working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in a community or rehabilitation setting
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and data management systems
