About the Opportunity
- As a Café Attendant, you'll prepare and serve quality coffee, food and desserts while delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.
- Deliver friendly and attentive service to members and guests.
- Prepare and serve barista-made coffee, other beverages and desserts.
- Carry out basic food preparation, including sandwich toasting and plating.
- Process payments and perform cash-handling duties.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment, including clearing tables and collecting glassware and plates.
- Complete general cleaning duties as required.
About you
- Have a minimum of one year's experience in the same or a similar role.
- Ideally hold a barista qualification and/or have experience preparing quality coffee in a high-volume environment.
- Bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Hold current RSA and RCG certificates.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
- Bring strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Be available to work a variety of shifts across our operational hours, including nights and weekends and public holidays.
