$40.00 Hr + Super + Penalties

The Role: This position will suit a mechanically minded Trade Assistant with previous experience supporting trades within industrial, maintenance, workshop or similar environments. Your duties will include:
- Working alongside mainly Mechanical Fitters, as well as other trades, to assist with day-to-day maintenance
- Assisting with general mechanical repairs and maintenance work
- Using hand and power tools as required
- Helping remove, replace and fit mechanical components
- General plant and workshop support
- Working in confined spaces and at heights when required
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
To Be Successful, You Will Require:
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant and a strong mechanical aptitude (previous exposure to fixed plant is advantageous)
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces ticket (or be willing to obtain)
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen
- Compliant working rights for the ongoing roster
