  • Customer-Centred Design: Champion customer insights, market research and co-design methodologies to develop services that respond to changing community needs.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industry partners, community organisations and internal stakeholders.
  • Contract Management: Oversee government and subcontractor agreements, including negotiations, renewals, compliance, risk management and financial performance.
  • Tender & Grant Submissions: Lead and coordinate the development of competitive tenders, funding proposals and grant applications.
  • Commercial & Market Analysis: Conduct market research, financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments to support informed strategic decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with operational leaders, finance, customer experience and other teams to ensure products and services align with organisational objectives.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Product Manager who brings strong commercial acumen, strategic capability and a passion for delivering meaningful community outcomes.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Management, ideally within a service-based organisation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in a comparable role.
  • Proven experience in product strategy, service development, market research and business growth.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including financial modelling, analysis and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management, negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to develop tenders, grant applications and strategic submissions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
  • The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering positive social and community outcomes.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

Alongside the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, our client offers a range of benefits designed to support your financial wellbeing, professional development and work-life balance.

  • Generous Salary Packaging: Take advantage of not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $15,900 per year, plus up to $2,650 for eligible meal and entertainment expenses, potentially increasing your take-home pay.
  • Fitness Passport: Access discounted memberships across a wide network of participating gyms, fitness centres and swimming pools to support your health and wellbeing.
