The Role

Our client is looking to expand their emerging Technetics AI division, they are looking for a pioneering AI Automation & Solutions Engineer to help shape their internal capabilities and establish a scalable Managed AI Services offering for their clients. If you want to move beyond AI theory and build real-world, production-grade solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, this is your next career move.

This is a unique, hybrid role combining AI engineering, business process automation, systems integration, and client consulting. You will own the full AI lifecycle—from running discovery workshops and building rapid proofs-of-concept to deploying, securing, and maintaining production-ready AI agents and workflows.

You will make an impact in two key areas:

Internal Transformation: Identify inefficiencies within our client and apply AI and automation technologies to boost their own productivity and scalability.

Client Delivery: Act as a trusted advisor to external clients, helping them assess AI maturity, design tailored AI roadmaps, and implement secure, automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI & LLM Development: Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered AI agents, internal assistants, and copilots using RAG, tool calling, and workflow orchestration.
  • Process Automation & Integration: Architect and build automated workflows connecting business platforms (Microsoft 365, CRM, ERP, PSA, RMM) via APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.
  • Consulting & Discovery: Facilitate client workshops, evaluate AI readiness, and translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Governance & Security: Help establish responsible AI policies, ensuring data privacy, access controls, and risk mitigation across all solutions.
  • Managed AI Services: Support the ongoing monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement of deployed AI agents and integrations.

What We Are Looking For (Essential Criteria)

  • Proven Delivery Experience: You have professional experience designing, building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade AI or automation solutions (beyond just playing with API tools).
  • Automation Frameworks: Hands-on experience with tools like Power Automate, n8n, or Make.
  • AI & LLM Knowledge: Deep familiarity with generative AI, prompt engineering, and platforms like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude.
  • Consultative Mindset: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical details and business value.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure / Azure AI, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and CI/CD deployment practices.
  • Industry certifications in Microsoft, Azure, AI, automation, or cybersecurity.
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
