Territory Manager
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for strategically important accounts within Opal, driving value by providing a centralized approach to account management, account optimisation and customer interactions. This role will be based at Bundaberg.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer plan for the assigned territory, identifying and sizing all major customers, contacts and competitor accounts, to prioritise efforts and determine contact frequency.
- Ensure Opal is delivering best in class customer service and operations management through continual engagement with state-based customer service teams and operations managers.
- Continually identify and negotiate new business opportunities and aggressively pursue profit targets.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify and grow sales target market areas with quality customers.
Key Qualifications
- Sales experience, preferably in an agricultural or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in negotiating contracts.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels internally and externally from the business.
- Demonstrated understanding of sales methodologies provided through online and face-to-face sales training.
- Ability to create customer plans for current territory, identifying and sizing all major customers and competitor accounts.
