This is an exciting opportunity to provide strong clinical and operational leadership in a regional setting, ensuring consumers receive safe, high-quality and person‑centred care. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating care delivery, supporting efficient service operations and creating a positive workplace culture where staff feel valued, supported and empowered to deliver their best.

Working closely with nursing and midwifery leaders, the multidisciplinary team and external partners, you will bring your clinical expertise and leadership skills to support continuous improvement, workforce development and contemporary models of care across the service. You will be responsible for the leadership, coordination and development of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing/Midwifery, while fostering a culture focused on quality, safety, collaboration and excellent consumer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of safe, high-quality, person and family‑centred care, ensuring continuity of care and positive consumer outcomes across Elliston Hospital and Pines Hostel.
  • Provide strong clinical and operational leadership, supporting nursing and multidisciplinary teams, developing staff capability and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
  • Manage workforce and service resources effectively, including staffing, rostering, leave, work allocation, supplies and other operational requirements within the relevant organisational frameworks.
  • Drive quality, safety and continuous improvement, using contemporary evidence, data and clinical information to identify opportunities, manage risks and strengthen models of care.
  • Lead and support change, education and professional development, acting as a role model, mentor and resource for staff while contributing to service‑wide initiatives and improved consumer outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

Do you bring strong clinical expertise and leadership experience, with the ability to confidently coordinate care and support a high‑performing nursing and multidisciplinary team? Are you a positive and approachable leader who develops staff potential, encourages professional growth and creates a workplace culture where people can thrive? Do you have highly developed communication, problem‑solving, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse regional health service? Are you innovative, adaptable and committed to person‑centred care, continuous improvement and leading positive change in the way services are delivered?

If you have answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you!
