Paddignton Medical Centre, a well-established and independently owned practice in Brisbane, is seeking a friendly and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. About the Role:
This casual or part-time position (approx. 20-25 hours per week) involves organising appointments, maintaining records, and performing tasks to ensure smooth and efficient running of the practice while providing exceptional care to our patients.
- Previous experience in general practice (preferably 2 years+)
- Good understanding of Medicare, DVA, Workcover, and private billing
- Proficiency with medical software, ideally Best Practice
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to use initiative
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and willingness to learn (training available for the right candidate)
