We're looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our growing Commercial team and play a key role in shaping the commercial success of complex energy projects across Australia.
This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting major tender submissions, commercial modelling, contract negotiations and risk assessments across a diverse portfolio of traditional and renewable energy opportunities.

Be part of the change
Reporting to the General Manager Commercial, you'll support the commercial development of complex energy opportunities from tender stage through to contract execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the commercial and contractual aspects of strategically important tenders and proposals
- Developing and reviewing financial models, business cases and commercial submissions
- Collaborating with technical and commercial stakeholders to develop innovative and commercially viable energy solutions
- Negotiating and reviewing commercial contract terms whilst supporting legal review processes
- Identifying and managing contractual and commercial risks across bids and new business opportunities
- Providing commercial guidance, coaching and knowledge sharing across the Business Development and Commercial Team
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and sharing knowledge on emerging technologies, market trends and industry developments
Be part of the solution
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in Engineering or a related discipline
- Significant experience in commercial, business development, tendering and/or contract management roles, preferably within the energy, mining, infrastructure or resources sectors
- Strong financial and commercial modelling capability, including the development and evaluation of complex business cases and investment opportunities
- Demonstrated experience preparing complex tender submissions, commercial proposals and business cases
- Proven ability to negotiate and review commercial agreements whilst balancing risk and commercial outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coach and share knowledge across technical, commercial and business development teams
- A solutions‑focused mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
