BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER IN SUPPLY CHAIN
Reporting to the General Manager / Director, you'll find, win and onboard new customers while keeping existing accounts happy and growing. You'll be the face of PACE AUST LOGISTICS in the market, and your work will directly shape our growth.
Key responsibilities
Find and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals
Run the full sales cycle: first contact, needs analysis, proposals, negotiation and close
Onboard new customers smoothly, working with operations to make sure we deliver from day one
Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
Manage and grow existing accounts by finding opportunities to expand services
Keep an accurate sales pipeline and report on activity and results
Follow market trends, competitor activity and customer needs
About you
Proven experience in business development or account management in Logistic, freight, transport or supply chain, Ideally in Cold Chain.
A track record of winning new customers and meeting sales targets
Excellent customer relationship skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
Confident communicator and negotiator at all levels
Self-motivated, organised and results-driven
Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) is an advantage
Current driver's licence

Base salary of $110,000 - $130,000 + superannuation
Uncapped commission on new business
