Upper Lachlan Shire Council is seeking enthusiastic and friendly Café Attendant's (Casual) to join our team.
We're looking for friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic Cafe Attendant's with a genuine passion for customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
About You
To be considered, you will have:
- Proven service experience in a similar café/restaurant environment.
- An understanding of the operation of tools and equipment commonly utilised in a café/restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation and storage standards.
- Proven ability to initiate, plan and prioritise tasks within a busy work environment.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, and respond to customer enquiries.
- Proven ability to work productively as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of Food handling.
- Demonstrated experience in cash handling and POS systems.
- Available to work weekends as part of a staff roster system.
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.

- $40.37 -$45.25 per hour + Superannuation

About the Role
Based in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, Upper Lachlan Shire is known for its agricultural industries, rich history and picturesque countryside.
As a Café Attendant, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient and effective preparation and service of food and beverages while delivering excellent customer service within the Café at the Visitors Information Centre.
What You'll Do:
- Provide the highest quality service to customers of the Café
- Provide Café style food and table service for the Visitor Information Centre and Crookwell Swimming Pool, including the preparation of coffee and light meals
- Monitor stock and fill according to anticipated needs
- Operate cash register, cash handling, and balancing the till
- Assist in the provision of catering for functions and events.
