Oros Labs is building the system that civil construction will run on.
We are starting with the earthmoving, piling and demolition contractors who do the work in the ground, then the builders they work for, then the whole job, in Australia and beyond.
Our founder ran civil jobs as a project manager and estimator before building the software.
You will be the first business development representative in our sales team.
You will open conversations with the owners of civil contracting businesses across New South Wales and book them in with our founder, working directly with the founder and helping shape how Oros sells as we grow.
A contract role of 15 to 20 hours a week, at times you choose within business hours, from mid-November.
What you will do
Call the owners and directors of earthmoving, piling, demolition and civil firms from a researched list, and book 20-minute calls and site visits.
Keep the call notes and next steps up to date, so nothing goes cold.
Join a weekly review of what is working and what to change.
What we are looking for
Experience booking meetings by phone with business owners. B2B outbound, recruitment or trade sales are all good backgrounds.
You are comfortable talking to people who run sites. Knowing construction, trades or plant hire is a real advantage.
You stay steady with "no", keep good notes and follow up when you said you would.
Good written English for short follow-up emails and messages.
What we offer
$30 to $32 an hour, plus $75 for every meeting with a decision maker that goes ahead, and $500 for every one of those meetings that becomes a signed discovery.
Three meetings a week and two signed discoveries a month adds about $1,900 a month on top.
A 4-week trial from mid-November, then an ongoing contract if it works for both sides.
You work under your own ABN and invoice monthly.
A researched call list, a call script and a booking calendar from day one.
Room to grow into a bigger sales role as the team builds.
