About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Portion cutting beef, lamb and pork to customer specifications
- Producing consistent weights, sizes and presentation
- Maximising yield and minimising unnecessary trim and waste
- Working quickly to meet daily production deadlinesAccurately following cutting sheets and customer specifications
- Maintaining high food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety standards
- Working reliably as part of a busy production team
What We're Looking For
The successful applicant must:
- Have proven experience as a food-service or production butcher
- Be fast and productive without compromising quality
- Understand how to maximise yield from every cut
- Be highly accurate with portion weights and specifications
- Be reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Take pride in consistency and presentation
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment
- Have good knife skills and a strong understanding of meat cuts
