About the role
Our Ravenshoe-based Road Services team is seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator (Construction) for a full-time, permanent position. You will operate and maintain Council trucks and plant (primarily skid steer and backhoe) for road construction and maintenance projects, and provide high standards of operational and maintenance labouring across the Tablelands Region.

Pay and conditions
- Base salary package from $63,250.75 per annum ($2,432.72 per fortnight)
- A range of allowances included in base salary, plus additional claimable allowances
- 76 hours per fortnight on a 9‑day fortnight (RDO every fortnight)
- Flexible working arrangements with RDO incentive
- 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
- 12% employer superannuation contribution
- Pro-rata long service leave after 7 years
- Uniforms and PPE supplied
- Hearing checks, flu shots and skin checks (subject to availability)
