We are partnering with a growing consultancy-focused technology team seeking a Senior Databricks Engineer to help design, build, and deploy modern AI and data platform solutions. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a strong client-facing consulting mindset. You will work across AI, data, and platform engineering initiatives, helping customers build scalable, production-grade solutions on Databricks while engaging directly with stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.
About the Role
You will:
- Design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale Databricks solutions
- Lead the development of modern AI and data platforms in production environments
- Implement and optimize Databricks architecture, governance, and best practices
- Work closely with clients to understand requirements and provide strategic technical guidance
- Drive platform engineering initiatives across data, analytics, and AI workloads
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Contribute to architecture decisions, technical leadership, and platform innovation
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks in enterprise or production environments
- Proven experience building, engineering, and deploying Databricks-based solutions
- Strong knowledge of Unity Catalog and Databricks governance frameworks
- Experience with Agent Bricks (AgentBricks) or similar AI agent capabilities within the Databricks ecosystem
- Background in AI Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end solutions from design through deployment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to advise and influence clients

- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and travelling when required
