Our client is a Sydney-based print and manufacturing business specialising in retail and supermarket signage. They design, produce and deliver in-store and point-of-sale signage for some of Australia's best-known retailers and brands.
We're looking for a hands-on Factory Supervisor to run our client's signage production floor day to day, keeping jobs moving on time, safely, and to a high standard, while leading and getting the best from the team.
What you'll do:
- Plan and schedule daily production across print, finishing and dispatch.
- Lead and supervise the factory team (permanent and casual), allocating labour to hit deadlines.
- Keep jobs flowing to time and quality; spot and clear bottlenecks on the floor.
- Own workplace health & safety and housekeeping standards.
- Oversee equipment upkeep and coordinate with the Print and Prepress teams.
- Support training and cross-skilling of floor staff.
What we're looking for:
- Experience supervising a production or factory team (print, signage or manufacturing ideal).
- Strong planning and organisation - comfortable juggling competing deadlines.
- A hands-on leader who can motivate a team and hold standards.
- Sound WHS knowledge and a safety-first mindset.
- A practical problem-solver who stays calm under pressure.
- A continuous-improvement mindset a plus.
