About Us
Optical Systems Design (OSD) designs and manufactures a diverse range of industrial networking products for the security, transport and industrial markets both within Australia and worldwide. We are looking to add to our team of Test Technicians in our Manufacturing Department. This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday.
Our ideal candidate would have:
- Good electronics knowledge
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with embedded systems and different communication protocols including Ethernet and serial data – desirable not essential
- Previous experience in an electronics production/testing environment along with experience of repairing electronic products down to its component level
- Ability to use a range of test equipment and test jigs
