Opal ANZ is an industry-leading paper and packaging business. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at our state-of-the-art site in Matraville, NSW as we are currently looking for a Papermaker-Trainee to come onboard.
The Mill operates on a rotating 12-hour Shift Roster, 7 days a week. You will be paid an annualised salary based on 43 hours per week, which incorporates rostered training days and an average of 3 hours additional time. The ‘sportsman’ roster allows for 2 full weekends off out of every 4.

For this role we would ideally like you to have:
- Experience in a high-tech, large-scale manufacturing industry and/or a technical/trade qualification
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Be able to learn and process a large amount of information quickly
- Be pro-active and flexible
- Safety focus with a customer first attitude
