Position Overview
We are seeking a Graduate Environmental Scientist to join our Strategic Water Services team, working out of our thriving Brisbane office where you will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
- Regularly participating in field work, sometimes in remote locations for extended periods of time
- Assisting in both contaminated land and water projects, undertaking soil sampling, gas monitoring, groundwater sampling, sediment sampling and surface water sampling
- Undertaking field investigations, data interpretation and report preparations
- Engaging with internal and external clients and subcontractors in planning and delivering high-quality outcomes
- Assisting in the preparation of written reports, including a high level of attention to detail and using objective driven focus
Qualifications and Skills
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline. Experience or willingness to earn aquatic ecology sampling and assessment. Ability to do remote fieldwork for relatively long programs when required. Open C Class drivers licence.
