About the Opportunity
Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced APS6 Video Learning & Communications Manager to support the delivery of engaging communications, multimedia content, and learning initiatives across a range of digital platforms.
Working within a learning and development environment, you will be responsible for developing communication products, managing multimedia projects, creating engaging video and photographic content, and ensuring consistent branding and accessibility standards are maintained across all outputs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative communications professional who combines strong stakeholder engagement skills with hands‑on multimedia production expertise.
Key Responsibilities Communications
- Develop and deliver communication products across multiple channels, including websites, intranet platforms, learning management systems, social media and newsletters.
- Create and publish engaging content to support learning and development programs.
- Develop promotional materials and digital communications for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce communications products, announcements and branded materials.
- Ensure all communications align with organisational branding guidelines and communication standards.
Multimedia Production
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop engaging learning content.
- Manage end-to-end video production, including planning, scripting, filming, editing and post-production.
- Capture and edit professional-quality photography for training, communications and promotional purposes.
- Ensure visual content meets accessibility requirements and digital publishing standards.
- Support the integration of multimedia assets into online learning and digital delivery platforms.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience developing and delivering communications content across digital channels.
- Strong videography, photography and multimedia production experience.
- Proficiency using video editing and creative design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom or similar).
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written communication and content development skills.
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver fit‑for‑purpose communications products.
- Knowledge of branding, accessibility and digital communication best practices.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting learning and development, instructional design or eLearning programs.
- Experience working within a Federal Government environment.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements and inclusive content design principles.
