The Opportunity

Are you the person who loves figuring out how things work, solving problems and getting things back up and running? Join a leading Australian healthcare equipment provider where your practical skills will make a genuine difference. You'll be part of a supportive service team, working out in the field to maintain and repair equipment that helps people live safely, comfortably and independently. No two days will be quite the same, with a mix of on-site servicing, troubleshooting and occasional workshop work.

About the Role

Working alongside a team of Service Technicians, Parts Specialists and Service Coordinators, you'll help keep essential healthcare equipment safe, reliable and ready to use. Equipment includes hospital beds, motorised scooters, wheelchairs and a wide range of other healthcare products and daily living aids. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting issues and completing repairs and routine servicing
  • Testing equipment to ensure it is safe and operating correctly
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
  • Managing parts and servicing inventory as required
  • Looking after your tools, servicing equipment and company vehicle
  • Ensuring all work meets relevant Australian Standards and company safety requirements

This is a field-based role servicing customers from the Gold Coast to north of Brisbane, with occasional work from the Underwood workshop. You'll work Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to manage your day while delivering great service to customers.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and takes pride in finding solutions. You might already be working as a Field Service Technician, Mechanical Technician, Equipment Technician or in a similar hands‑on maintenance or repair role. Experience with healthcare equipment is welcome, but your technical aptitude and willingness to learn is just as important. You'll bring:

  • A mechanical, technical or service background, supported by relevant training and/or practical experience
  • A natural ability to troubleshoot, diagnose faults and get things working again
  • The ability to work autonomously, organise your workload and manage your time effectively
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
  • A current, valid driver's licence
  • Test and Tag certification would be an advantage.

Why Join?

This is a great opportunity to put your technical skills to work in a role that offers variety, autonomy and purpose. You'll enjoy being out in the field, working with a diverse range of equipment and helping healthcare providers and people in the community access the equipment they rely on every day. If you're a hands‑on problem solver looking for a role with purpose, variety and a great work-life balance, we’d love to hear from you!
