Vans Café, located in Cottesloe, is seeking an experienced and qualified Cook to join our busy kitchen team on a full-time basis. We offer an extensive menu featuring seasonal and locally sourced produce, daily specials, bistro-style dishes, and all-day breakfast in a vibrant community atmosphere.
This is a full-time position offering 38 hours per week with a proposed salary range of A$80,000 to A$90,000 per year, commensurate with your experience. You will work alongside a dedicated team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional food and dining experiences for our regular and walk-in patrons.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparing and cooking a wide range of meals, including all-day breakfast items and bistro-style dishes, to a consistently high standard.
- Working with seasonal and locally sourced produce to execute daily specials and standard menu items.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assisting with kitchen operations, food preparation, stock management, and service flow during peak trading hours.
- Collaborating effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
