With a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project delivery, Viscon Concrete Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Formwork Carpenter to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis in Hampton East, Bayside Area.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our construction team, working on various structural concrete projects. We are looking for a reliable professional who takes pride in their trade and can contribute to our high standards of safety and quality on site.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Constructing, erecting, and dismantling timber and metal formwork systems for structural concrete elements.
- Reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensuring all formwork is set to correct levels, plumb, and secure to withstand concrete pours.
- Working collaboratively with steel fixers, concreters, and other site personnel to maintain project schedules.
- Complying strictly with all site health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Performing general carpentry duties and maintenance of tools and equipment as required on site.
