About our service:
Located on Tangmere Road at RAAF Base Williams in Laverton, our service welcomes Defence and local community families, providing early learning and care from nursery through to kindergarten. We’re passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment for children and a supportive workplace for our team. We also love helping children connect with their community and discover how they can make a difference. Our sustainable herb and vegetable garden brings this to life. From planting and watering to watching something grow, children have opportunities to explore, ask questions and learn to care for the world around them. You’ll help turn these everyday discoveries into meaningful learning experiences.
For Defence families navigating postings, deployments and time apart, a familiar face and a warm welcome can mean a lot. The care and connections you provide will help children feel settled and families feel they belong.
About your role:
As an Educator, you’ll work alongside your Room Leader and colleagues to create engaging experiences that reflect children’s interests, strengths and individual needs. You’ll contribute to programming and observations, support daily routines and maintain a safe, inclusive environment. From encouraging a new friendship to celebrating a child’s latest discovery, you’ll recognise the learning in everyday moments. In the part-time position, you’ll work 22.5 hours across Monday, Thursday and Friday, building consistent connections with children, families and your team. In the casual position, you’ll support the service as needed, bringing a flexible approach and clear communication as you join different routines and learning experiences.
Bring your can-do attitude and commitment to One Tree Community Services’ spirit, purpose and values. We’d love to have you as part of our team.
