Great science deserves great communication.
We're looking for an experienced life science comms and content creator and strategist to join our team while our Head of Creative is on maternity leave.
First Create The Media is a multi award-winning communications and marketing agency for the life sciences.
We help great scientific innovations, and the people behind them, get the attention they deserve.
Despite working remotely, we're a small, close-knit team of smart people who love nothing more than turning complex science into clear, compelling communications that makes an impact for our clients.
Who we work with
Our clients are doing some of the most exciting, innovative science around.
In this role you'll mainly work with life science product and service companies (CROs, platform technologies, data companies and tools providers) trying to stand out in crowded markets or define an entirely new one, along with biotech/techbio startups and scaleups attracting investment and partnerships, and research institutes, charities and consortia that need people to understand why their work matters.
The role
On the delivery side, you'll take creative ownership of content across multiple client portfolios.
That means briefing, writing, editing and signing off work from our in-house team and freelancers, and making sure everything that goes out the door is accurate, on brief and actually good.
On the strategy side, you'll lead on developing messaging frameworks, positioning, audience mapping, channel and content strategy, tone of voice and website strategy.
You'll run workshops with senior client stakeholders and turn what you hear into sharp strategies and clear, actionable plans.
You'll also help us to shape client proposals, grow our business, and support our own agency marketing.
