Omni Recruit is working with a much-loved Sydney wing restaurant group, and this role is at their Haymarket flagship in Darling Square: the original venue where it all started. It's high volume, high energy and full of everyone from CBD office crews to Darling Harbour visitors and late-night regulars. We need an Assistant Restaurant Manager who loves a big shift and a full house.
Assistant Restaurant Manager – Darling Square
- $70K–$80K + super, full-time

Omni Recruit is working with a much-loved Sydney wing restaurant group, and this role is at their Haymarket flagship in Darling Square: the original venue where it all started. It's high volume, high energy and full of everyone from CBD office crews to Darling Harbour visitors and late-night regulars. We need an Assistant Restaurant Manager who loves a big shift and a full house.
What you'll be doing
- Co-piloting the venue with the Restaurant Manager, and leading it when they're off
- Running the floor through big service peaks with a cool head
- Rostering, training and developing a large front-of-house team
- Handling stock, ordering, wastage, cash and reconciliation
- Owning guest experience, in venue and online
- Managing bookings, groups and functions
- Keeping food safety, WHS and compliance tight
What you'll bring
- Supervisor or assistant manager experience in a high-volume venue (CBD experience is a plus)
- Energy, organisation and a genuine love of looking after people
- Confident with POS, ordering platforms, email and Excel
- A current NSW RSA and First Aid certificate
- Full Australian work rights
