Omexom is hiring for ourUrban Lighting teamto help light-up communities across Metropolitan Melbourne and Victoria with safe and reliable street lighting. About the Role:
As a Lineworker, you will be responsible for the maintaining, upgrading and repairs to the Public Lighting Network across Victoria, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing new streetlights and replacing outdated ones with energy-efficient LED systems.
- Inspecting, servicing and repairing lighting infrastructure to ensure appropriate functionality.
- Replacing and/or upgrading faulty lanterns, wiring, and electrical components as required.
- Driving, operating, and working from elevated work platforms (EWP)
- Able to use hand tools and plant & equipment.
- Co-ordinating with suppliers to ensure safe work practises.

What you will need:
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in high-risk environments
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Australian equivalent.
- Construction Industry White/Blue Card.
- High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and Rigging).
- Line Worker Registration (Orange Card)
- Current MR or HR Drivers Licence.
- Experience working on electrical networks.
