We are looking for a motivated carpenter to join us on a subcontractor or casual basis. The work will vary from smaller repair and maintenance jobs through to renovations, extensions and other residential carpentry work. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is motivated to gain experience across different types of projects. We have contracted projects running through to the end of 2026 and into 2027, with additional work in the pipeline. We are looking for someone who is interested in ongoing opportunities as the business continues to grow. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, as work availability may vary with weather and conditions in the local building and construction industry.
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete a range of carpentry and building tasks to a high standard
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Follow safe work practices and maintain a tidy worksite
- Work collaboratively with other trades and people on site
- Communicate respectfully with clients and the Oke Building team
- Be willing to learn and develop skills across different types of work
Skills/Qualifications:
- Carpentry experience required
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- White Card
- Current driver's licence
- Own tools in good condition
- Own vehicle
- Strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: Casual: $40-$55, negotiable depending on experience (plus daily travel allowance).
