About the role:

Ogilvy Melbourne is looking for an Account Executive to work across various clients. The role expands across multiple touchpoints in each campaign and is packed with growth opportunities. You will be immersed deeply in the business and will support across a range of projects, spanning brand through to digital, all connecting back to solving business challenges.

Your focus is supporting the team in the day-to-day management of the account, to ensure a seamless and superior level of service is delivered to the client every day.

What you'll do:

  • Handle day to day administration of the account, including internal and client WIPs, workflow control, meetings, minutes, estimates and records, under the direction of the Account Director.
  • Keep team informed on work in progress, recognising issues early and pre-empting them.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the client's brand and its competitive environment.
  • Write briefs under the supervision of the Account Manager/Director.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to get things done on time, on budget and at the right quality, including peers across departments and disciplines.
  • Provide excellent customer service in all client interactions.
  • Manage small projects and support senior team members on larger projects.
  • Establish and build relationships internally and with junior level clients.

What you'll bring:

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • You are curious, proactive and confident contributing ideas and perspectives.
  • You have strong research, organisation and attention to detail skills.
  • You collaborate effectively and are a reliable, supportive team member.
  • You show curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging tools, with a willingness to learn and explore new ways of working.
  • You adapt well to change and contribute positively to team culture.
