Oaktree Family Medical Centre – Moranbah QLD

The Role
- Remuneration: $200/hour guarantee for the first 3 months, then 65% of billings
- Billing model: Mixed billing with a strong private base
- Average gross billings: $2,500 to $5,000 per day
- Occupational Health: Optional and encouraged
- Weekends: Saturday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 11:00 am, shared across a 5-GP roster
- On-call: No hospital work or hospital on-call. Occasional light mine-site injury on-call
- Relocation: Temporary accommodation provided
Non-VR GPs (General Registration)
- $100 to $150/hour for the first 3 months, then 40% to 65% of billings depending on pathway, progress and experience.
- We are an FSP and ACRRM accredited practice.
Supervisor Opportunity
We currently have doctors working under supervision and are looking for an experienced GP to help share the supervision load as a Primary Supervisor or Co-Supervisor. This is optional and comes with an additional weekly incentive:
- Primary Supervisor (Level 1): $1,000/week
Ideal for a VR GP with supervision experience or an interest in teaching.
Try Before You Commit
Relocating is a big decision, so we offer a short trial stint of 2 to 3 weeks before you commit to the permanent role. It’s a chance to meet the team, see how the practice runs and get a feel for life in Moranbah. Short-term accommodation is provided during your trial.
Please note: trial stints are VR only due to Medicare and provider number requirements.

Requirements
- Current AHPRA general registration with no conditions
- Minimum 3 years of recent, recognised General Practice experience
- VR GPs (FRACGP or FACRRM) for the full-time role
- Non-VR GPs with general registration are also encouraged to apply
- Applicants must hold general registration with AHPRA and currently live in Australia. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship or supervised (limited or provisional) registration pathways at this time.
