Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa are looking for a friendly, flexible, and guest-focused Guest Experience Attendant to join our team, someone who can confidently assist across both Front Office operations on a casual basis. This is a hands-on, dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a guest-facing environment. You'll be a key part of the overall hotel experience, ensuring our guests feel welcome, well cared for, and delighted from check-in to check-out, while also assisting within housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/check-outs with efficiency and warmth.
- Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas as required.
- Provide local recommendations, handle guest requests, and respond to feedback promptly.
- Support linen handling, room setup, and presentation standards.
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to brand and cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date guest records.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday.
- Shift times scheduled within 6:00am to 10:00pm.
- Long term opportunity.
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
- Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour.
- Saturday: $41.96 per hour.
- Sunday: $48.95 per hour.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years' experience across Front Office would be highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
- Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums, ensuring precise and professional correspondence.
- A positive, adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about creating positive guest experiences, with a focus on attentive service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings. Weekends HIGHLY favourable.
