Minor Hotels is excited to expand our Housekeeping Department, with multiple Full Time, Part Time and Casual opportunities now available across our properties in Brisbane CBD. About the Role
- Cleaning and maintaining all common guest areas to the highest standards, ensuring all areas are always hygienic and visually appealing.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
- Building strong, professional relationships with team members and guests to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.
Shift Details (subject to change)
- Monday to Sunday Flexible shifts
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)
- Monday – Friday: $24.95 ($31.19 casual)
- Saturday: $31.19 per hour ($37.43 casual)
- Sunday: $37.43 per hour ($43.66 casual)
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
