About the role
We’re after an experienced Electrical Supervisor (S26) to lead our crew on a recently opened BHP mine site in the Pilbara. This is a ground-floor opportunity: you’ll help build the site’s electrical infrastructure from the start, and then keep it running. You’ll fly from Perth and be the go-to person for safety, standards and getting the job done right.

What you’ll be working on
- Setting up new transportable buildings and laydown areas, including offices, crib rooms, ablutions and temporary power
- Installing electrical equipment across the site as it grows
- Ad hoc service and maintenance, from fault-finding and breakdowns to whatever the site throws at you
- Monthly test and tag, plus RCD testing where required
- Liaising with the client: you’ll be the main contact for BHP reps and the principal contractor
What you’ll own as S26
- Act as the nominated Electrical Supervisor for Nu-Phase works on site
- Lead and mentor a tight crew of sparkies and apprentices
- Run safety on site: isolations, permits, risk assessments and compliance
- Complete daily site reports and documentation
What you’ll bring
- Current unrestricted WA Electrical Worker's (EW) Licence
- S26 approval, or eligible to be nominated
- Proven mining experience (Tier 1 or BHP sites a big plus)
- Experience with transportables, temporary power and laydown setups (highly regarded)
- A leader who backs their crew and doesn’t cut corners
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A test
