About the opportunity:
We are seeking 2 reliable and motivated Packer's to join our team in Somerton Vic on permanent day and afternoon shift .
This role reports to the Production Manager will be an integral part of the Production Team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- To receive and pack Printed Labels and / or Finished Goods to palletise, box wrap, shrink wrap, and / or stock
- Under direction, process Pick Lists accurately for deliveries, stock entries, account purposes and control.
- Assist is stock takes and for inventory control activities.
- Maintain Good Housekeeping of Work area and ensure Safe Work practices and manual handling are adhered to at all times
- Operate allocated Mechanical Aided Equipment as per the safety operating procedure of the plant
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Ideally, have prior experience in working on a production floor, experience in the print, packaging, or label manufacturing industry will be advantageous
- Be a team player that can communicate effectively across multiple work groups and willing to help out others.
- Able to work autonomously and are self-motivated.
- To have high attention to detail and proud of your work standard - quality focus.
